2018 CAMP SEASON DATES

The 2018 Camp Hope seven week season will begin on Monday, July 2, 2018 and end on Friday, August 17, 2018. The hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Enrollment Steps

1Registration

To secure a spot for Camp Hope, a Camp Hope Registration form and registration fee is required. Camp Hope is a popular program and spots fill up quickly. Don’t delay and send in your registration form today!

Registration Form – Please click here to download the registration form and current tuition information. Be advised that registration forms are processed on a first come, first served basis. Upon completion, the form can be submitted electronically to camphope@arcessex.org or by mail to Camp Hope, 123 Naylon Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039.

Registration Fee – A $40.00 registration fee can be paid via credit card through this link or by check, mailed to the above address (please note method of payment on your registration form).

2Application

While the Registration Form is used to reserve a spot at Camp Hope, the Camper Application provides the specific information needed for your family member to attend and confirms their participation. First –time campers can access the New Camper Application here. Veteran campers (attended in the last 2 years) can access the Returning Application here . Upon completion, applications can be submitted to camphope@arcessex.org or to Camp Hope, 123 Naylon Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. All camp applications must be submitted by May 1st.

3New Camper Intake

All new campers are required to participate in a face-to-face intake with a member from our Camp Hope team. Upon receipt of the camper application (Step 2), a member of the Camp Hope team will reach out to schedule an intake. If you do not hear from us within two weeks of your application submission please call the Camp Hope team at 973-535-1181.

4Welcome Packet

Upon receipt of Step 1 (Registration Form and fee), Step 2 (Camper Application) and Step 3 (intake for new campers only), a welcome packet will be mailed to your home which includes the following:

  • Welcome letter
  • Transportation information
  • Camp Theme Calendar
  • Tuition Invoice
  • List of Missing Documents and Forms
5How do I pay for Camp Hope Tuition

Tuition payment is required before the start of the camp season unless other payment arrangements have been made. Please click here to view the current tuition information.

Parents/Guardians may use this payment link to make a payment online or payment can be mailed to Camp Hope at 123 Naylon Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039.

The following resources are available to help offset the costs of camp tuition for families. Please review the applicable links below for specific application process and eligibility criteria. Revised invoices will be mailed upon receipt of payment or confirmation of scheduled payment from one of the outside resources below:

Camp Hope is an approved provider of camp services and one-to-one support services through DCF. Visit the PerformCare website to review their criteria, applications and deadlines at performcarenj.org or reach PerformCare by phone at 1-877-652-7624 and information can be mailed to you.

The Arc of Essex County is an approved provider of camp services through DDD Supports Program and CCW. Contact your support coordinator to request that this service be added to your plan. If you family member is not with the Support Program or CCW, please contact DDD. More information can be found at www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ddd/

The Arc of Essex County’s summer camp program may be used instead of or in conjunction with a camper’s ESY program. Parents may submit the School District form to their child study team to initiate a contract for this service.

The Arc of Essex County has designated funds set aside to help offset the tuition fees for eligible families. To apply, families should complete the financial aid form located in the Camper Application . Please note financial aid is need based and not guaranteed.
